Shipping Costs

UK Shipping costs are charged per order as follows:

Up to £50 - £5 per order.
Over £50 - Either £5 or £7.50 depending on weight.
Over £300 - Free

Shipping costs are only calculated for the cost of shipping to the UK. For shipping costs outside the UK, please contact us prior to purchase.

The shipping costs above are a minimum charge and may exclude non-local deliveries of tableware and glassware over 10kg in weight. These orders may attract a higher postage charge than that quoted. In such cases the customer will be notified of the extra delivery charge and be given the opportunity to cancel the order should they wish to do so.

Free local delivery is available on any orders regardless of cost or weight.

Shipping is usually by Royal Mail Special Delivery or Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded post.

Ordering

Orders can be placed via the online store, by e-mail, by telephone, or in writing.

We are official stockists of Royal Doulton, Wedgwood, Coalport and Rosenthal. As such, in addition to the items displayed on our website, we can provide any item in the current Royal Doulton, Wedgwood and Rosenthal Catalogues. Please contact us for details if you cannot see the item(s) you would like to purchase listed on our website.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your oder. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Delivery

Items in stock should be despatched within 1-2 working days of your order. Items ordered in from Royal Doulton and Wedgwood should reach you within 10 working days. If an item is out of stock at Royal Doulton or Wedgwood delivery can take up to 12 weeks. Should this be the case, we will always contact you to find out whether or not you wish to proceed with the order.

All items are fully insured against loss or damage.

Payments

Any credit card details you enter are transmitted over a secure(SSL) link and stored using 128-bit encryption. If you would prefer to pay for your goods by a different method, please place your order by e-mail or telephone.

Guarantee

It is your legal right to withdraw from your purchase of an item within 7 working days of the day after the date the item is delivered to you. If you wish to cancel your order you must do so by writing to us by post or e-mail within this period. You must then return the goods to us within 14 days at your expense in an undamaged and unopened condition. For your protection we recommend that you use a recorded delivery service. We will refund the cost of your order subject to deduction of the original shipping charge.

Damaged or defective items will be replaced at our expense. In respect of damaged items, please keep these together with all packaging for return to us or inspection by the carrier.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Security

We do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Governing Law

The use of this website and any purchase on this website by you will be governed by English law and will be deemed to have occurred in the United Kingdom.
